  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 16 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While baking, cut provolone cheese into circles using a cookie cutter.
  6. Once meatballs are done, top each with a cheese circle and an olive slice, then return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and heat marinara sauce; toss together before serving.
  8. Plate spaghetti and top with the eyeball meatballs before serving.
