  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (170°C). Line an 8×8 inch pan with aluminum foil and grease it lightly.
  2. Melt butter and dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Stir in sugar; mix well.
  3. Add eggs one by one, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; stir until combined.
  4. In another bowl, blend pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Carefully pour the pumpkin mixture on top.
  6. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the center is set. Cool completely before slicing.
