  • For the Filling: 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup key lime juice, 1 tbsp lime zest
  • For the Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tbsp key lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325F (165C) and grease a Bundt pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
  3. Gradually add sugar, then mix in eggs one at a time.
  4. Combine flour and salt in another bowl; incorporate into the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in key lime juice, zest, and optional food coloring.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the pan; add optional filling if desired; top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 75-85 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar with key lime juice and drizzle over cooled cake.
