  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy Melts (for coating)
  • Toppings like sprinkles or candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a 13 x 9 baking pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat for about 2 minutes until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  5. Mix in the frosting until you achieve a dough-like consistency.
  6. Roll into one-inch balls and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Melt Candy Melts in intervals in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Dip sticks into melted Candy Melts before inserting them into each chilled cake ball; refrigerate again until firm.
  9. Dip each cake pop into the melted coating and sprinkle decorations while still wet.
