  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Boil the cubed potatoes in salted water until tender (15–20 minutes).
  2. Drain and mash the potatoes until smooth.
  3. Mix in softened butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Pipe the potato mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with parsley or chives if desired.
