  • 200g fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 250g shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika to taste

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sauté in a skillet with butter over medium heat until pink (about 2-3 minutes per side), then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt another tablespoon of butter, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in cream and simmer for a few minutes before adding parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Combine drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Toss in sautéed shrimp.
  5. Serve immediately alongside steamed broccoli and toasted garlic bread.
