  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 12 oz medium pasta shells
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Season steak with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear for about 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, whisk in grated Parmesan cheese along with salt and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce. If thick, adjust with reserved pasta water.
  6. Return steak to the skillet; mix everything well and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
