  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, optional
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Season chicken with garlic powder, Cajun seasoning (optional), salt, and pepper; toss to coat.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat; sear the chicken until golden brown (7-9 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter; sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle bubble; stir in Velveeta until melted.
  6. Mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until smooth; add Italian seasoning.
  7. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
  8. Serve hot with chicken on top; garnish with parsley or herbs.
