  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized strips
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear steak tips seasoned with Cajun spices for about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese; stir until smooth.
  5. Lower heat and mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until thickened; add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Toss cooked pasta in the creamy sauce before serving topped with steak tips.
